A detailed underwater scene showing a modern cable-laying vessel deploying a thick fiber-optic submarine cable onto the ocean floor. The cable is coiled on the ship's drum and gradually unspools into the deep blue water, with a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) nearby inspecting the cable and seabed. The seabed features gentle sand ripples, scattered rocks, and a faint silhouette of marine life such as a school of fish in the background. The lighting is natural, with shafts of sunlight penetrating the water, highlighting the metallic sheen of the cable and the high-tech equipment on the vessel and ROV.

A detailed underwater scene showing a modern cable-laying vessel deploying a thick fiber-optic cable onto the ocean floor. The cable is visible as it descends from the ship's stern, passing through a water column filled with gentle light rays, and resting on a sandy seabed with scattered rocks and small marine flora. Include a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) near the cable, inspecting the placement, and a few curious fish swimming nearby. The perspective is slightly angled to capture both the ship above the surface and the cable on the sea floor, emphasizing the engineering process in a realistic, high‑resolution style.
